WiRED Brand Development and Communication Strategy

WiRED partnered with Engagement Lab to create a cohesive brand identity and communication strategy. Through focus group insights, we developed strategic messaging together with the logo and visual identity. The project also delivered a set of templates for Word and PowerPoint, together with event invitations, LinkedIn banner and Teams background to support WiRED’s growth and outreach.

  • WiRED, Women in Renewable Energy Denmark, is a forum created to connect, support, and amplify the voices of women in the renewable energy industry. As a newly established initiative, WiRED required a visual identity, together with strategic messaging and tools to ensure strong and professional engagement with its members, stakeholders, and partners.

    Engagement Lab was tasked with developing WiRED’s brand from the ground up, providing clarity, professionalism, and flexibility in the brand’s digital and print application.

  • We began with a focus group discussion to uncover WiRED’s core values, vision, and personality. This research phase provided a foundation for the brand’s strategic direction and ensured alignment with stakeholder expectations.

    Strategic Messaging
    Using insights from the focus group, we created key messaging frameworks, including WiRED’s mission, vision, values, and tone of voice, ensuring a clear and compelling narrative for all communications.

    Visual Identity Development
    Our design team translated WiRED’s bold and professional personality into a complete brand identity. This included:

    • Logo Design: A modern, clean logo symbolizing connectivity and energy

    • Color Palette and Typography: Professional yet bold choices to reflect WiRED’s dynamic nature

    Comprehensive Brand Toolkit and Comms tools
    We delivered an extensive set of templates and tools to empower WiRED’s communication across platforms:

    • Office Templates:

      • Word templates for text-heavy documents, process guides, and meeting minutes

    • PowerPoint Templates:

      • Corporate slide deck together with the icon library

      • Speaker templates for flexible design

    • Digital Assets:
